Located throughout the nooks and crannies of the residence at 2536 W. Thomas, the Duchess Credenza Arts District comprises a smidgen of up and coming, thimble-sized visual art venues and fledgling research bureaus. It’s art in impossibly small places and runs twelve hours from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Featuring:
A Hole in the Wall * The Silenced Robin Memorial Garden * Cartographers * mini donuts * Stereoscopic Slide Shows of Fontainebleau by a Pseudo-Napoleonic Scholar * The Mansion * Clutch Gallery * The Grooming Station * tamales * Desserting Consummation * The Ledge * beer * The Medicine Cabinet New Media Festival and MUCH MORE. (Regrettably, the Center for Shamanic Studies will be closed.)
Keep up with the ever-improving daily line-up here.
The Mansion is apparently very rare. At least, that’s what half a dozen online sellers say. But it does have good light: “The DIE CUT WINDOWS let a FABULOUSE amount of light into this house, making it all the more GLORIOUS.” Can’t wait to install the work.
